Overview

The Palms B&B is situated next to the Japanese Gardens in Durban North. It offers modern rooms and a spacious garden and outdoor pool.

Each room is individually decorated and has air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and modern decor.

Full English breakfasts are served on the Palms’ patio or in the guest dining room. There is also a communal lounge where guests can watch TV.

The bed and breakfast is just 20 minutes from Durban International Airport and 10 minutes from Durban’s city centre. Umhlanga Lighthouse is 6.6 km away and Durban Botanic Garde is 7.1 km.

Directions from the Airport:

1. Follow signs to Durban N2
2. Take N2 to next exit no.190 signposted for M27 Verulam / Umdloti
3. Take offramp towards Umdloti
4. Follow signs for M4 to Umhlanga
5. Travel 15km towards Durban on M4 past Umhlanga
6. Take exit No. 4 which is signposted for Durban North & Broadway (Swapo Road)
7. Cross over freeway & take the first road left which is Old Mill Way.
8. THE PALMS is half way up on the left hand side (Number 46)

N3 Highway heading east towards Durban
Left Into N2 (Outer ring road)
Left Into Queen Nandi Drive (M45) (Queen Nandi drive)
Left Into Briardene Drive (M45) (Briardene drive)
Left Into North Coast Road (R102) (North Coast road)
Right Into Lothian Road
Left Into Ellis Park drive
Right Into Lonsdale drive
Continue Along Old Mill Way
